About Me
Hi! I am a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DCSE) at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Previously, I was a Ph.D. candidate at the Users & Information lab, KAIST advised by Alice Oh.
My research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly in question answering and underrepresented languages. I am passionate about developing NLP technologies that bridge the gap between high and underrepresented languages, making AI more inclusive and accessible to diverse communities.

- [Feb. 2025] I graduated Ph.D. from KAIST and starting my position as a lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
- [Jan. 2025] Our paper WorldCuisines was accepted to NAACL 2025!
- [Dec. 2024] I co-organize the Language Models for Underserved Communities (LM4UC) Workshop, which will be co-located with NAACL 2025. Find out more here!

- [Dec. 2024] Successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation, where I focused on developing data generation and evaluation frameworks for Question Answering systems in Indonesian and Sundanese languages.
- [Nov. 2024] Attended EMNLP 2024 in Miami to present our paper on Indonesian and Sundanese Commonsense QA.
- [Sep. 2024] Our paper on Indonesian and Sundanese Commonsense QA was accepted to EMNLP 2024!
- [Aug. 2024] Attended ACL 2024 in Bangkok to present one Findings paper and two workshop papers at the C3NLP Workshop. Our BLEnD paper won the Best Paper Award at C3NLP!
